Terms of Service

LeaseIQ grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service for your council's internal IFRS 16 and CIPFA compliance purposes, subject to these Terms and any subscription plan in force.

• Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date
• Maintain the confidentiality of your credentials and enable MFA
• Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Ensure you have the right to upload any lease data and supporting documents
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service

You retain all rights, title and interest in the lease data and content you upload (“Customer Data”). You grant LeaseIQ a limited licence to process Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. LeaseIQ does not claim ownership of Customer Data and will not sell it to third parties.

Subscription fees are billed in advance on the cycle stated in your order form. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Late payments may result in suspension of the Service following reasonable notice. All amounts are exclusive of VAT, which will be added where applicable.

We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may carry out planned maintenance and will give reasonable notice where practical.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeaseIQ's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. LeaseIQ is not liable for any indirect, consequential or special losses, loss of profits, loss of business or loss of data. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Either party may terminate the subscription in accordance with the order form. On termination, your access to the Service will cease and Customer Data will be deleted in accordance with our retention policy, subject to any legal or audit obligations.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to account holders before they take effect.
